Brianna Kriley
I'm Bri, owner of and counselor at Wellness Rooted Counseling. I am honored that you are taking the time to explore our services and team of counselors. With over a decade in the helping field and several years practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I strive to support people by enhancing their mental wellness through conversation, connection, and creativity.
I am licensed in the states of Washington, Florida, and Pennsylvania allowing me to work with clients through a telemental health platform. Offering creative counseling consultation, I work with professionals from any state. You can learn more about my consultation services at The Creative Complement Company.
I specialize in working with adults who have survived childhood trauma, professionals exposed to secondary trauma, and parents striving to ‘break the cycle’. My experience includes providing counseling to adults, youth, and families in a variety of settings, such as inpatient, intensive outpatient, community-based, and clinic-based.
My wellness is rooted in creativity
My philosophy:
I’m an existential humanist. I use a trauma-focused, strength-based approach to emphasize personal worth, freedom of choices, and individual creativity. I value learning about the lived experiences of my clients and identifying messages, values, and ideals. We work together to achieve self-compassion, confidence, clarity, emotional management, acceptance, understanding, and reduce the effects of trauma in your life.
You are not required to have a mental health diagnosis to receive the benefits of counseling. Qualifying for a mental health diagnosis does not make you sick. However, like medical illness, a diagnosis can offer an explanation and help guide treatment and support a speedy and complete recovery.
I pride myself on providing personalized care to my clients. Authentic personality and professionalism are foundational in my practice, and I want my clients to accept nothing short of exceptional care. I enjoy working with first-time clients and clients who have had counseling experiences in the past, good or bad. If nothing else, we can work together to determine the type of counselor who would be best for you.
Qualifications
The information below represent the dedication and investment I've made in becoming the best counselor I can be. Transparency is a cornerstone of my practice. With that in mind, I'm here to break down what these credentials mean, ensuring you're fully informed and empowered in making decisions about your mental health and well-being.
